WESTCO COMMUNICATIONS

During my combined 3 month tenure at Westco Communications I was responsible for managing, producing, and designing various projects whilst adhering to and complying with company guidelines. I was also accountable for answering queries and presenting to clients before progressing to new stages alongside recording time spent on a brief into a project management interface.

#DontBeIdle

#DontBeIdle was a campaign urging drivers to turn off their engine when parked, loading or waiting at the roadside. The main objective of this campaign was to lower vehicle emissions within the borough of Westminster.

Alongside a double sided leaflet I created a motion infographic as a support material that would be easier for people to consume. The infographic draws comparisons between the amount of dangerous car emissions being pumped into the London atmosphere and the volume that it would fill. The video also describes the health risks and the number of deaths that are linked to poor air quality.

VIDEO TRANSITIONS

I was given a brief to create video transitions to seamlessly blend various clips together. These would be linked to the DontBeIdle campaign seen above. In turn I created transitions that would be placed between intros, chapter headings, and outros.

WEST END LIVE

West End LIVE is a free annual event showcasing the best of the West End! Presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, West End LIVE showcases the quality and diversity of entertainment on offer in the heart of London, promoting the West End as an exciting venue for all the family – all live, all for free in the iconic setting of Trafalgar Square.

I was tasked with reworking the branding for the 2017 instalment of West End LIVE. This initiated the common process of creating a design to fit a brief, receiving feedback, making amends, shortlisting ideas, receiving further feedback, making additional amends, delivering materials to a client, and hopefully signing off a project.

CITY OF WESTMINSTER HOARDINGS

I was tasked with creating graphics for hoardings to be placed at construction sites; whilst buildings are enveloped by scaffolding during the construction process. I created small communities based on the locations and landmarks seen within the borough.
